Leave It:

Back in "O" town and bored. My family has decided that I'm on dog duty for the rest of winter break since I've been gone for practically the whole semester. Joani still has a little trouble knowing where to go the bathroom every once in awhile, but she's definitely better than she was when we got her four months ago. She knows how to sit when we tell her to, and really understands the word "treat." The "leave it" and "no" command seem to be selectively understood.

I'm sad because I just found out that I can't come to the winter play reunion. My family and I are all going out to my grandparents house in Shelby. I wonder why Fisch decided to have the reunion on the 26th, it seems rather close to Christmas. She must have figured that since everyone is coming home for the holidays that we would all have a better chance of going to it...except for me, who is going out of town. :(

If you want to see something that I did in my typography class go here. The credit(s) for the typesetter(s) are on the last page. Do you remember me talking about the artist brochure project before? If not, the artist we designed our brochure for put it up on her website which is here. You're probably wondering why I used the (s)'s...that's because I practically designed the entire project myself. My partner decided that he didn't really need to come to class that often, and as a result, didn't contribute a whole lot to the project. If we (I) would have had more time, the brochure probably would have looked a little better. The main problem with it though was that the artist wanted us (me) to include tons of text with tons of pictures, so the space became extremely limited and a few things had to be cut. But overall, we (I) got a good grade on it, so that's all I really care about.

Finger Crossing:

No more finals! YAY! Just as I predicted, my Art History final was crappy. I even left a question blank that was worth six points because I had no clue. I must have been sick on the day he discussed the artifact. O_o Damn...oh well. I know I'm not going to fail it though. I got an "A" on my midterm, and an "A" on my paper. I'm not sure what I got for my oral report though. I'm still waiting on that grade, but I'm sure it's not any lower than a "B." All my other finals went great, at least I thought they did. I'll just have to wait and see when the final grades are posted. *Crosses fingers*

Despite the fact that my finals are done, I still have to work Thursday and Friday night. Another thing that sucks is that I'm going to have to drive back to Lincoln on Monday for my taekwondo belt testing. I'm testing for my blue belt, and I'm fairly confident I'll get it. *Knocks on desk* I did some board breaking for the first time yesterday. All I had to do was an elbow strike, which wasn't too hard. On Saturday I have to go to a wedding for one of my sorority sisters. So hopefully I'll get to see most of you guys when I come back Saturday evening, and then I shall have to leave you for the afternoon on Monday. Call me people...we must hang out...its been so long. I think Sachi is coming with me to Omaha because she has nothing to do for break. So expect some company...oh and Peter, don't scare her away. Be nice. :P

Utter:

If you were looking for a new post, here it is. It's not going to be much of a post, but I'll do my best. Technically, I don't have anything to post about, so now all you're going to read is utter nonsense...for the most part.

So finals are this week. I technically have five, but one of them is a final project in Typography which is already completed, and the other is a belt testing in taekwondo class. My Epic Tales final is a take home, which is good and bad depending on how you look at it. I'm not too worried about my Japanese final, that's probably the only class in college that I will receive an A+ in. The one that I need to worry about is my Roman Art and Archaeology final. That includes me reading the textbook, which I really haven't done at all, and memorizing pictures, dates, and artisits if applicable.

So yeah, I should be seeing most of you over Christmas break finally. We better hang out, or I will come over to your house and sit by your bed...or in it depending on the mood I'm in at the time, until you wake up. And then we'll go get some ice cream.

Take A Number:

Well, as you can see, postage has been lacking thanks to projects and papers. Tis the season. I'm still not done with all of them, but I'm halfway there. And as soon as I'm done with that, finals will start. I know I'll do good on my Japanese final, and my Typography final, because I don't have one in that class. :P I have a final project and oral report instead. The two finals I'm worried about are my Art History and Epic Tale's finals. I got sick in the past week and missed a few classes, so hopefully I won't do too bad. I got notes from people though, so I should be alright...I hope. Once finals are done I'm home free...home free that is until school starts again next semester...heh.

I worked last night, and it was a really fun and crazy evening. A fight broke out, six people got M.I.P's, and four people got arrested. I guess people think that the school year is over already, because a ton of parties got busted. Maybe no one told them that we have two weeks (including final's week) left. One party was stupid enough to play extremely loud music while they were having the party, and on top of that, they lived next to the floor R.A. (Resident Assistant). She also happens to be the naziest one of them all. Morons.

I applied to study abroad in Japan next year. I'm fairly certain I'll be accepted, what I'm not so certain about is whether or not my parents really like the idea. I'm still convincing them, and the only way I think I can really do that is if I get tons of scholarships to study over there. I guess that's another thing to put on my list of stuff to do. If it were to take a number, it would be like the 147th person in line.

I don't have any pictures for any of the events right now...so all you get is this instead:
