Wednesday, November 24, 2004 Blah:So here I am sitting in my room (in Omaha), bored out of my mind. I'm headed off for my grandparent's house tomorrow for some good Thanksgiving cooking. Yay! I don't know what it is, maybe I'm getting sick or something, but I feel like blah... I don't know how else to explain it other than that.
Saturday, November 20, 2004 Winnar!:I've been playing Halo 2 a lot over the CPN (Cather/Pound/Nieheart) network. A few of the boys with headsets didn't believe I was really a girl. So, to prove it to them, I went out and bought a headset of my own. They were pretty shocked to realize that a girl was beating them so badly. Muahahaha. This morning at 11:00 a.m. was the CPN Halo 2 tournament. Guess who won? Me! Woo Hoo! For getting first place I got a $50 gift certificate to Best Buy. Silly boys...and yes, I was the only girl in attendance. Tonight is our sorority's formal. We're having it with two other fraternities on campus: Alpha Gamma Nu and Triangle. I know a few of the boys, mostly from Triangle though. They are the unofficial Halo fraternity. I'm taking one of the kids I play Halo with down at HSS (Harper/Schramm/Smith) residence halls. I usually go over there before work to play on their network, because it's actually more of a challenge...heh. I heard he had a crush on me, so I asked him to come. ;) He also knows a few boys in the Triangle fraternity as well. Our formal has an international theme (my idea), and I'll probably be the only one there wearing something festive. I bought a purple Chinese dress and shoes to go with. The best part was that it was cheap...yay! Should be a fun time. I'm still waiting on receiving pictures from Japan night, I'll post those as soon as I get 'em. I'll probably post some from our formal tonight as well.
Friday, November 12, 2004 Bungie Bastards:Well kids, it's time to celebrate the fact that Surface of the Sun has been in existence for two years. Exciting, isn't it? Today it's also time to celebrate Adam's 21st birthday! Woo Hoo! Today isn't his birthday, we're just celebrating it today. Hopefully I can make it down to Omaha in time and get off work...here's hoping... So yeah, hours after Halo 2 was purchased, the campaign was completed (on Normal difficulty) and I was left with confusion as to what was going on in the plot and an open ending. Upon completion, it was then surmised that the open ending was left for yet another Halo... Now fans must wait another three long years for its release...those Bungie Bastards! Gah! They must have figured that since Halo 2 was going to make a lot of money, why not extend the plot to make a Halo 3, and increase the profits once again. After playing through the campaign on Heroic difficulty a few of the things people say, as well as the plot itself changed a little. Someone told me that once you beat the entire game on Legendary, you unlock another multi-player level. In order to confirm this I'll just have to play it for myself...hehe. I got a call from Japan today. Ayako says she's doing fine and is a little bored staying home all by herself for most of the time. :P We all miss you Ayako, and can't wait till next semester when you come back to UNL. :D Awh...I want to go to Japan. I'm still convincing my parents, and it's slowly working...I think...
Monday, November 08, 2004 Countdown To Mayhem:If I had a countdown timer until midnight, it would be placed here. Since I don't, you're just going to have to read about it anyway. I am primarily using this post to warn most of you that I will most likely not be posting for quite sometime thanks to the Bungie and Microsoft corporations. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, (to quote Tenacious D) you are banished from the land! Heh...well I guess I won't be that harsh on you...just a little bit though... In other news...I've been really busy this week. Japan Night was last night and all week I had been helping the food committee prepare for the event. I learned a lot about Japanese style cooking and cooking in general. Usually the only thing that I can be proud of making with my superior cooking skills is macaroni and cheese. :P I helped out last night by serving the meals. The requirements to be a server were: 1.) to be female - OK, I got that covered, 2.) you had to wear a yukata, and thanks to Yoshi, I got to borrow one and wear it for the night. Arigatou Yoshi-chan! :D The event was a little drawn out, but the food, taiko drums, and hilarious skits made up for it. I know that next year I'll definitely be participating. Pictures of the event will be posted as soon as I recieve them. Until then, you'll just have to be waiting in anticipation...
Tuesday, November 02, 2004 No Longer Saving the Daylight:You asked for them, and here they are...the pictures taken on that dreadful night of October 31st, 2004 (a.ka. Halloween). Remember that pole I told you about? Well here it is. My co-workers suck. They suck because no one picked up my shift for Saturday night. I put the stupid sub-slip up like a week and a half in advance damnit. I should have known no one would have taken it though. Saturday was the biggest party night of the month because no one really wanted to celebrate Halloween on Sunday and then have to go to school the next day...well, most normal people. Also, daylight savings time ended on Saturday night. That meant that most people got an extra hour of sleep or partying in. Not Rachel. She got an extra hour of work in. Oh well, at least I got paid for it. So anyways, that meant I had to leave the party early and leave all the crazy people getting drunk, playing touch pool, and dancing half naked around the pole...oh and lap dances. Yes, lap dances.
My co-worker Jenny and I got really bored throughout the night and started taking pictures. I also got this really ingenious idea that I was going to make fake nipples out of newspaper by rolling pieces up into balls and then placing them under my shirt. Practically every male that entered the building that night was fascinated by my gi-normous nipples. Apparently Jordan, the CSO (Community Service Officer) was also quite impressed. So impressed in fact, that he got a woody...or so I was told by Jenny. I was too busy playing with my stuffed bra at the time. The crazy part is that he even knew they were fake. Oh well, at least he was cute. ;) And now here are some pictures Jenny took while we were working. Jenny also took some pictures of my boobs and crotch in this pose to tease Jordan, but those will not be shown...hehe. :P So here is one where some random guy came up while we were taking pictures. And that's all the pictures (that can be shown). Tune in next time for another exciting adventure...
